In the years since, we have become increasingly aware of the ways in which our voter files can be manipulated and sold to the highest bidder. But what is a voter file? And what is so important about it, anyway? Nick Tuell is a political operative with experience in government and political campaigns. He worked for President Obama’s reelection campaign as a field organizer in southeast Ohio and four election cycles for the Ohio House Democratic Caucus running statewide field, digital and communications programs.

Nick’s governmental service began at the Ohio Statehouse where he served as Legislative Aide to State Representative Stephen Slesnick and, eventually, Senior Legislative Aide to Ohio House Minority Leader Fred Strahorn. Most recently, Nick served as Chief Spokesperson for the Franklin County Clerk of Courts, Maryellen O’Shaughnessy.
