As the President and CEO of the Global Cyber Alliance, Phil helps build communities to deploy tools, services and programs that provide cybersecurity at global scale. Previously, he served as the Deputy Under Secretary responsible for US cybersecurity at the DHS, the first Executive Director of DoD’s Cyber Crime Center, and the Deputy Chief of the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section at DOJ. also worked as Sony’s Chief Information Security Officer and the Chief Trustworthy Infrastructure Strategist for Microsoft in the private sector. He has been awarded the Homeland Security Distinguished Service Medal as well as the Attorney General’s John Marshall Award. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Vanderbilt and a law degree from Yale.
